- ½ cup of extra virgin olive oil
- ½ cup of Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ cup of minced garlic
- ¼ cup of steak seasoning
- ½ teaspoon of Italian seasoning
- Chopped fresh basil to taste
- 1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar
- 4 New York strip steaks
- In a bowl, mix the olive oil, the Worcestershire sauce, the minced garlic, the steak seasoning, the red wine vinegar, the basil & the Italian seasoning. Pour the mix into a large sealable plastic bag.
- Pierce the steaks on all sides with a fork & place them in the bag containing the mix.
- Gently shake the bag, seal & leave to marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours.
- Preheat Le Griddle for high heat, lightly oil the cooking surface. Warm up serving plates.
- Remove steaks from marinade & place them on the heated cooking surface. Grill on each side until desired doneness.
- Serve on warmed plates & slightly drizzle with the marinate, salt & pepper to taste.
