Marinated New-York Strip Steaks


  • ½ cup of extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ cup of Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup of minced garlic
  • ¼ cup of steak seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • Chopped fresh basil to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar
  • 4 New York strip steaks


  1. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, the Worcestershire sauce, the minced garlic, the steak seasoning, the red wine vinegar, the basil & the Italian seasoning. Pour the mix into a large sealable plastic bag.
  2. Pierce the steaks on all sides with a fork & place them in the bag containing the mix.
  3. Gently shake the bag, seal & leave to marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours.
  4. Preheat Le Griddle for high heat, lightly oil the cooking surface. Warm up serving plates.
  5. Remove steaks from marinade & place them on the heated cooking surface. Grill on each side until desired doneness.
  6. Serve on warmed plates & slightly drizzle with the marinate, salt & pepper to taste.
